And perisno is customizable - want zann invasion to occur as late as possible, here you go. Third legion (not sure if correct name) outpost - hard quest with siege in the end but the reward is great. But what makes it better than mentioned Pop are things like unique quests. Tons of factions, tons of units, new weapons - all good. The content is equally spread till late game. But it still feels much like native and late game kingdom building has little to offer. Pop is basically enhanced native with really interesting ideas and mechanics. Huge roaming armies - well, Perisno handles this better, but still it's another challenge. Knighthood - probably the best thing in mod. Quails gems and other various loot for exchange - great idea. Five factions almost the same as native ones, similar bandits, similar quests, similar armour and weapon. Pop might be slighty better as it feels more finished. But if you are okay with our this part, then go for it. You won't have your own castles, you won't become next king of gondor. And diversity of troops, items and tactics depending on race adds up here.īut, TLD does not have any management parts. TLD takes more individual approach - you complete quests, fight small parties of orcs and run from big armies, get better gear, get unique items for being faithful to faction, and then - it all culminates in huge battles where your party is just 5% of all troops and it all depends right here and right now, whether Rohan is going to destroy isengard, or not.ģ) TLD is the most repayable mod.
